After having a pretty full Tuesday, we laid low on Wednesday. The weather was a bit overcast and cloudy, so we stuck close to home for most of the day. However, we had to have the required Edmonson Grunge Tennis Match. This year we played at Kristina's club -- Central Park located in Kirkland, WA. It was the middle of the week and the middle of the day, so Kristina had no problem getting a court. So we headed out for our match.
This year featured Maisie and Kristina vs Rhett and Da-Da. It was a fun match and it is always good to see how much Maisie and Rhett have improved from the last time Kristina saw them play. Here we are warming up.

Something funny clearly happened here because Kristina and Maisie are both cracking up!
Now we are started and things are getting serious. Here is Maisie's service motion...she looks good! Look at that form and she is a lefty! She is going to be tough to beat!
And here Kristina is demonstrating her weapon of choice -- her forehand! Clearly she is heading into the net!
Not to be outdone by the ladies, Da-Da had to demonstrate his service motion. Not bad at all for someone who plays tennis less than 5 times a year.

There was plenty of action in the match. Lots of running down balls and moving all of the court! It was a good time to be had by all...the girls won in the end...enough said!
